Stand Up Paddle & Pedal Boarding

My son and myself had a wonderful two hours paddle boarding. We had lots of fun and we really enjoyed it and we would do it again or try something else. Very impressed with the health and safety measures and we had a lovely meal in the lovely cafe there.

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

At Llandegfedd Lake we welcome beginners, seasoned pros and everyone in between. You can bring your own kit and pay to launch your craft, book on a course or simply hire all the equipment from us.

SUP is an acronym for Stand Up Paddle Boarding and is an offshoot of surfing where you stand up on the board and use a large paddle to propel yourself instead of laying on the board and paddling. SUP has been taking off in popularity and we are pleased to offer it here. It is a fantastic all-over body workout, especially the core muscle groups – and provides improved agility, co-ordination and an enhanced lifestyle.

We have recently increased the number of paddle boards by adding 50 brand new Jobe Paddle Boards to our fleet.

Stand Up Pedal Boarding

Brand new, high-quality fleet of First Pedal Boards in Wales! Stand Up Pedal Boards are a brand new watercraft that combines the fun of a SUP, with the comfort of handlebars. You step on two pedal pads on the board and this drives two fins side-to-side beneath the board propelling you forwards with incredible efficiency and speed… yes you can literally walk on water.
