Start

OS Explorer Map 152 Starting from ST 329 986

1

Starting at the Visitor Centre follow the pavement and head past the front of the Watersport Centre. You will see a finger post indicating walking trails Follow this through the gate which will lead you into a field. For this particular trail you need to turn right once through the gate and head uphill skirting the right-hand edge of the field.

2

Take an immediate right turn upon entering the field and continue uphill until you see a break/crossing in the border halfway up the field. Make sure you take an opportunity to turn around and take in the breath-taking view of the Lake before crossing the opening and heading straight across the next field until you reach a woodland gate.

3

Enter the woodland and follow the trail which drops down past the Water Sports Centre and Dinghy Park before rising again until you reach the field above the Visitor Centre and mini golf course. Keep to the left and re-enter the woodland which will lead you up to the top car park.

4

Follow the path from the car park leading back down to our Visitor Centre and remember to stop off to look through our photo point to capture the famous Llandegfedd Pike. Did you know Llandegfedd holds the UK record for the largest pike caught at a whopping 46lb and 13oz? (That’s a big fish!)
