Our Visitor Centre, designed by award winning architects, contains a stylish café and balcony with panoramic views of the lake and water-based activities. It is definitely one of the best views in Wales to enjoy with your cuppa.
The first thing you will notice is views through the floor to ceiling windows. This will be closely followed by the tantalising aroma of tasty treats. The light, airy space is surrounded by windows so you will get a great view wherever you choose to sit.
The windows can open up to the balcony where you can dine al fresco while watching watersports on the lake below. Dogs are welcome to join you on the balcony to rest with you after your walk. We provide dog bowls and water so they can enjoy a drink too.

Our varied lunch menu is made from locally sourced seasonal produce wherever possible and is served between 12pm-3pm Monday to Sunday. Choose from light bites to satisfying, hearty dishes and everything in between. Traditional favourites include hand battered fish & chips served with chips, mushy peas and a wedge of lemon. Slow cooked salt & pepper lamb shoulder with crushed new potatoes, seasonal vegetables and a redcurrant jus is perfect for Sunday lunch. So tasty you don’t have to be vegan to treat your taste buds to plant based perfection. A kids’ menu is also available for smaller appetites – just ask a member of the team. We know you might want to dine with your dogs so on a fine day you can eat with them on the balcony.
